ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR DR. ALPER URAL PLASTIC SURGERY

He was born in Ankara in 1985. He completed his primary education in Ankara Hamdullah Suphi Primary School between 1991-1995. He studied at Ankara Nermin Mehmet Çekiç Anatolian High School between 1996-2003. He was accepted to Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2003. In 2007, as a result of his success in the TURKMSIC exam, he won an education scholarship abroad and received General Surgery training for 1 month at Kaunas Medical Faculty Hospital in Lithuania. He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and received his Medical Doctor title. In 2009, he started his specialization in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine. In October 2015, he received his specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. In the same year, he successfully passed the proficiency exams held by the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and received the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Proficiency Certificate. After working as an Surgeon Doctor at Kanuni Training and Research Hospital between 2016-2017, he was appointed as Assistant Professor in 2017. In 2018, due to his success in the English oral and written exams held by the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Committee in Brussels, Belgium, he was given the title of FEBOPRAS (Fellow of European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) and received the European Proficiency Certificate. In 2021, he received his "Associate Professor" title in the field of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and was entitled to use the title of associate professor. He has participated in numerous national and international congresses, symposiums and workshops. He has 32 international publications, most of which are indexed in Science Citation Index and Science Citation Index-Expanded, 6 national publications and 3 international scientific book chapters. He has a total of 59 studies in Turkey as oral presentations, poster presentations and panel presentations. He has served as a referee for national and international scientific publications. He is married with 1 child and speaks English well.
